Specific cannabis compounds can prevent the virus that causes COVID-19 from entering human cells.
Researchers at Oregon State University identified a pair of cannabinoid acids that bind to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, blocking a critical step in the process the virus uses to infect people.
The team found the cannabis compounds, which can be taken orally and are abundantly found in hemp, blocked the alpha and beta variants from infecting the human cells - but the team notes those are the only two variants studied in this research.
This means, according to the team, the compounds could prove successfully in blocking other coronavirus strains.

jeeeze....I like the thought, but it wasn't that long ago that doctors were claiming pot made the person more vulnerable. I've pretty much given up on research. Pass the bowl.
I blame it on lawyers. It seems like a liability issue. Otherwise, why waste money on this? I technically can be piss tested per my contract.... never happened in 17 years.

I’ve only been popped twice in the 4 years I’ve been with the company, and I’ve took a chance and smoked a few times, but I don’t wanna push my luck too much and if I roll my ankle or something, it’s an automatic test.
This reminds me of the construction worker who was working on our stadium facade a few years ago. Got high at lunch, came back and walked right off the scaffolding. Hit a bunch of it on the way down. Not pretty.
Not sure if that effected what his Wife and baby got from insurance.
