Beltran and Andruw Jones within striking difference

Ichiro (60.0), Sabathia (61.8), Wagner (27.8), Beltran (70.1) and Jones (62.7) all have a WAR less than "Sweet" Lou Whitaker (75.1). All good players all deserving.

Whitaker ... No PEDs, No Gambling, did even argue with the Umpires ... nothing negative. He received 2.9% of the votes needed. When will the Hall of Fame right this wrong.

Billy Wagner? Not sure I like that one.
Meh. Over 400 saves, and has the lowest batting average against and highest K% of any pitcher in league history minimum 900IP

He’s not the worst reliever in the HOF

But I always liked Billy Wagner. Only spent one season as a Brave(his last season), but I think of him as a Brave, was just such a natural fit. I also think him mentoring Craig Kimbrel was a big part of Kimbrel’s development

Sabathia's short stint with the Brewers is the most dominant stretch of starting pitching I have witnessed in my lifetime.

Guess you missed Klubers time with the Rangers! Never gave up a single hit for us!
I did not but Sabathia went 11-2 in 17 starts with a 1.63 ERA, 7 complete games, 3 shutouts with the last 2 games on 3 days rest with the final game propelling the team to the first post season appearance sonve 1982.

Did I mention he was also robbed of a no hiitter by a very questionable call?
