Tennessee is not represented, even after the hullabaloo about their being ranked #21 to justify jumping Bama into the playoff. :nonono:
because FCS style pretty much all the conference champs get in. so unranked Miami OH, Boise and Troy move in and Ok State, Tenn and Clemson out.

There's some good second-round matchups in there but also a couple of head-scratchers, like why Michigan as the #1 seed could be facing a better opponent than the 2-4 teams, if there were a few early upsets. Maybe need to re-seed after the opening rounds.

That 8-9 Oregon-Missouri matchup would be fun to see.

Other than the injury risks for those early round blowouts.. hey, why not:noidea:

im not sure there would be as many as you think.
We saw 3 of those match ups in the regular season.
OK over SMU by 17. that game was 14-11 until 9 min in the game.
Louisville and NC State was a Louisville win 13-10
Arizona topped Oregon State 27-24

I see nothing that would indicate a blowout between Iowa and ND
honestly dont know what to make of Missouri. they played 2 G5 Middle tenn 23-19 and Memphis 34-27. Boise only lost to Memphis by 3. so makes me feel like that would be a close game too.
LSU vs Liberty i think would be more of a shoot out. lots of offense.
Penn State vs Miami Oh and Ole Miss vs Troy I see nothing to suggest anything but big wins by Penn State and Ole Miss.
