If TCU is able to win Monday night

My thoughts are "why the hell not"
CFB is wildass and often unpredictable. I'll pull for the underdog.

The entire universe that isn’t a Georgia fan is rooting for TCU.

I would even argue that college football needs a TCU win to help bring back some of the competitive nature that makes it great. Everyone is tired of the same old teams at this point.

I wouldn’t bet against TCU they have caught that lightning in a bottle and their kids believe 100% that they can do it. Magical unbelievable shit happens at that point.

They are "that f'n team"

I think it proves what we have all known, that Alabama was the best team in College Football this season.

Because…..

Alabama beat Kansas State
Kansas State beat TCU
TCU beat Michigan and UGA
Michigan/UGA beat Ohio State

Therefore Alabama is better than UGA, TCU, Michigan, and Ohio State.

Nebraska beat Rutger
Rutgers beat Boston College
Boston College beat NC State
NC State beat Florida St
Florida St beat LSU
LSU beat Alabama

Nebraska should have the natty

Once in a lifetime trip for me to watch UGA play for a natty and you’re all pulling for TCU. Fucking pricks. Find out who your friends are
this could be us couple in bed GIF

It's amazing how quickly we went from "1980" and "41 years" to "same old teams."

I actually believe that the casual fan likes UGA because we aren't the same old teams that, during the CFP era, have been tOSU, Bama, Clemson, and Oklahoma. Now, if we win B2B, and then keep playing like we are capable of doing (we have an easy schedule next year and will return 75% of our team), I can see people getting tired of us. But by then, the 12-team CFP will come in, and that argument will go away ... teams will have a chance to prove it on the field - teams like KSU (didn't work out) or Tulane (did work out) or Utah, PSU, etc.

I am certainly not betting against TCU. We should win, that's why we are favored by 13.4, But that's why we play the games.

doesnt the same line but sub Tulane for Alabama make Tulane champion?

Dude you have been in the playoff finals like 3 times now? That is "same old teams" just like Ohio State has missed a time or two but they have been in there enough that people want some variety.

Alabama
Georgia
Ohio State
Clemson
Oklahoma

Those 5 have been in it the most and people want to see some variety. It's nice to see Michigan, ND, TCU, LSU and even Cincinnati pop up here and there. I guess it really doesn't matter going forward because everyone and their brother is going to be there.

Aint nobody that isn't a Georgia Fan or someone that has a beef with TCU that is going to be rooting for Georgia.

All Glory To the Hypnotoad!

Literally, up until January 10, 2022 - just last year - we heard "1980" and "41 years." So, as I said, it's amazing at how quickly critics can pivot from one criticism to another.

Are you just now figuring out how this works?

If they win they’ll have to immediately expand the playoff to a minimum of 16 teams and nobody can bitch about it.

Brah. Embrace the hate.

I’d rather be hated for being good than be hated for being “preseason” champs like we were before last year

Why? Is TCU Bush League?
cockroaches and the fact that their fanbase is pretty terrible.. Like people don't know because nobody really cares about TCU.. but if anyone has ever caught a game vs TCU... they are pretty horrible.. I get the younger people cause who wasn't an asshole at 19.. but it's the 30-50 crowd who become frat bros once again..

I wasn't happy initially with CDC becoming the UT AD because of him coming from TCU.. I wasn't happy with Gary Pattersons addition this season as well when it was announced.

That's wrong.. I don't like UGA and I hate TCU... It's not just me.. two of my closest friends live up there (Ft Worth/ Dallas) and they are with me hoping UGA beats them by 70 if possible..

HATE HATE HATE lol

Georgia’s still a traditional power/national brand and has been so for the last two decades, at least.

That’s not the case with TCU.

In no way, shape, or form is Georgia an ‘underdog story’. They didn’t just come out of nowhere. Them winning a nat’l title isn’t a shock to anyone.

That’s not the case with TCU.

This is kinda the whole point.
