If TX wins: Texas #1

You’ve been second fiddle in your own state to the likes of TCU and Baylor for the last decade +. I would think that would be humbling enough.
It's worse than that. Houston had a winning coach who they stole and couldn't even win with him. Now they are throwing a hail Mary by hiring a drunk and hoping the 3rd generation Manning works out. Do you know how many national championships the Manning family has produced? Zero

Yeah, Manning needs to go straight to the pros. Mannings can win Super Bowls, not CFB Nattys.

uhhh it's a big state man.. which one of those schools actually reached the cfp title.. something msu or um haven't done.. shit even UT has been in a national championship more recently than either michigan schools.. so you can shit on Texas and the 20 P5 programs we got here.. but they all have done better than the schools in that shitty state sir

and still... Texas has a national championship the past 20 years... where is Michigan or Michigan st??

thanks for the "humbling" talk

I'm sure you are ready to riddle me with tosu accomplishments next... ewww imagine a bucknut taking up for a UM fan... yikes.. maybe you should get a thigh tattoo?

lol acting like we should be humbled by a UM fan is something else..
You should be humbled because you aren't a nationally elite program, not because of something a fan said. You are in the 2nd tier a LOOOOOOONG WAY back of the nationally elite programs.

Yes, not a nationally elite program. The last conference title, not national title, but CONFERENCE TITLE Texas has won, the kids they are recruiting right now were in diapers. Hell you have kids on your team who were probably still in diapers the last time Texas won the Big 12.

But keep thinking you are a nationally elite program. :pound:

if we weren't a national elite program.. why are we still ranked in the top 10? we lost to a team outside the top 10.. but go off,,i'd be talking shit too if I beat MN

Ahhhhh -- didn't realize being ranked in the 10 at any point in a season makes you a nationally elite football program.
I now understand what type of football fan I am dealing with. :pound:

Since 2009 A SINGLE Double Digit win season

That is not nationally elite

on the real only ones on that list they deserve what they are getting or deserving of more is Saban and Kirby

Chip and Jimbo... ehhhhhh not looking good at the moment ESPECIALLY since the people they hired previously had just about the same if not more success while making much less

To me the interesting ones are Harbaugh and Day.. Harbaugh took a paycut, probably cause michigan is broke :) And Day... I think they have to overpay for him and hope he figures it out? It's weird, he's had great skill players and some really good DL.. outside of that.. they should be better..especially if they are supposed to be hitting on the bluechips they have

Just think of them as Iowa.

And that doesn’t include assistants. Exhibit #1 as to why there was/is ground swell for players to get a piece of the pie.

It sure seems to me that many of these have things ass backards. They are paying BEFORE they get the results those amounts justify. Betting on the come and still waiting on it. Saban worked his way up to that level of salary. Many of the others, not so much.

But, I don’t blame those guys for taking it if the schools will pay for it without having to have success first.
