I was 11!Didn't @Hu War Yu say he was saw them at the Village Vanguard in '81?
I would have loved to see The Rolling Stones in their heyday.
I love GG Allin, but I don’t want actual shit thrown at meGiven the nature of the question I think I might go with G.G. Allin![]()

Saw Metallica during ..And Justice, I was working at the arena and got to meet James and Kirk, also met The Cult who was opening and watched their soundcheck.Metallica during …And Justice or Megadeth in Mustaine’s heyday or Iron Maiden in the mid-80s.
Also, Rush.

Same, I saw them on their Steel Wheels tour down in Clemson, Living Color was opening for them. Those guys put on a great set. The only Stones songs I enjoyed was Honky Tonk Women and Jumping Jack Flash. The rest of the time they seemed bored and lifeless. Part of the reason why I generally don't like concerts or live music is because the bands are usually exhausted.I saw the stones in the late 80's and they were old af. Keith Richards was hating on everyone so some asian dude was the lead guitarist at the time. It was a good show ... mainly because they have put out so much music. But at the same time it was simple. The drum kit was the smallest drum assembly I've ever seen out of a rock band. Without Richards.,...it was ok. They played the hell out of their Some Girls album and did a great job at those songs.

I bring this up because @White Knight is a big buddy holly fan...Very high on my list, maybe at the very top would be Stevie Ray in a smoky Texas bar in the late 80's
Didn’t notice that at all with him but my perspective may be different because I was already a huge fan when he died. Will never forget that night.I bring this up because @White Knight is a big buddy holly fan...
I would have liked to have seen Stevie Ray too, but he's another one where his death seemed to have as much influence on his popularity as his music did. I really didn't know who he was until the helo crash and everyone was like "he's so great". And he was very good. Just seemed to get a bump from dying.
