I'm looking through these posts and we have posters making a case for Ohio State and Tennessee.

When do they get to the selections? My goodness, this should take 5 minutes to announce. Does ESPN have a 2 hour block window to try and make this dramatic?

When they get back from commercial I'm sure they will go to a reporter in Tennessee and probably a reporter to USC and then to Clemson, just to get their thoughts on the teams feel and coaches perspective on if they still have a shot at the 4th spot.
 
The "would we be favored" argument is retarded. Spreads are not what the bookie thinks will happen. It's a number to get even money on both results so they just keep the losing juice. It's basically an average of what the betting public thinks will happen. The public is heavily influenced by tradition and media hype.

The committee should be above all that.
 
They just called Georgia the reigning national champs.

I guess we didn't learn from Cincinnati last year? TCU is going to get destroyed. Doesn't belong.

TCU is a tough team and earned this. Michigan may win, but they aren't going to destroy them.

Everyone who faces Georgia might very well get destroyed, but I think Michigan and TCU will perform better than tOSU if they face Georgia.

...and both of them would beat tOSU.

I said at the beginning of the season that Ohio State was getting a playoff spot for showing up.

TCU went 12-1 with a 3 point loss to Kansas State in OT in Big 12 Championship game. Who else should have been in ?
