Just looking at the results that season. 7 of our 14 games our opponent was ranked #12 or higher. To go 4-3 was pretty decent. Even with 3 losses, we finished ranked #9

One of the interesting things is that the first and then every game is a conference game. These games all count. No OOC little sisters of the poor games. Going to see the best on the squad from the get go.

Personally, I am looking forward to seeing if Mertz can be that QB that takes Wisconsin to the next level.
