Eh. Blew the 3rd overall pick on a CB last year. Prob good but still. Blew the 8th overall on a TE who also looks good but still.

We traded a bunch of picks to move up and take two different running backs who played behind 37 year old Adrian Peterson.

We did draft a good LT and C. Nothing really else worth mentioning. Bust CB Teez Tabor in round 2. Another MLB in round 2 who looks useless etc

Overall I think our new GM will try to rebuild the Rams here in Detroit. Goff, Swift at RB, Hockenson at TE, above average OL. Use those 5 picks in the next 3 drafts to build a monster defense. If Goff sputters use one on a QB. But if he pans out I could see the Detroit Rams here in a couple of years.

What’s crazy is Mcvay has never had a first rounder. Plenty of teams out there with top 10-15 picks every year and getting nowhere.

I guess that’s why we hired your college scouting guy. Has a strong reputation for helping find gems in the middle rounds. Hope it works out,
