My daughter tested positive for COVID today. She just spent 6 hours visiting me Wednesday. Supposed to have been a baby shower for my DIL Sunday.

Somebody just shoot me.

I’ve had it a couple times and not bothered to go to the doctor. But I did miss a days work on account of being ill for the first time in a decade.

I don’t get paid unless I go to work. It is a nice motivator. Getting paid.

Have a cousin and an uncle with Covid right now. Found out via Facebook. They seem proud. Which makes me not regret going to our Christmas party

No vax, eh? Or is it vaxed, but the vaxed are getting it bad now anyway. I forget where we are, exactly.

Sorry about that, man. My wife and one kid have it now. For the kid, it’s a bad head cold. For my wife, it is really hitting her fully vaccinated self super hard. Like a super flu or such. My Youngest had it 3 weeks ago, a sore throat for a day.

Hell of it is that I haven’t felt anything. Probably due to me getting the J&J mid November as a result if my company’s cave to the Biden mandate (only to find out a few days later the court would say nevermind to that madate). I guess I am glad I got it now. Wife is not up to snuff today and it’s been 5 days of it so far.

Stay safe and get your Motrin/NyQuil/reefer/booze stocked beforehand.
