Just watched Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Arc for the first time. Question:

Seeing as when they opened that lost arc chest at the end of the movie and it killed every one around it, wouldn't it have been better back in 1936 if Indiana Jones just let Hitler have that? It would have instantly killed Hitler and those closest around him for the arc opening and dramatically changed world history.
