Yeah....I was told rockers today are educated, unlike old school rock of the old days. So...lets review:

Jim Morrison graduated from UCLA. You may have heard of him.
 
I doubt you know this name off the top of your head... Tom Scholz....has a mechanical engineering degree from MIT.

He played for just another band out of Boston.
 
In the punk realm Milo (Descendants) and Greg Graffin (Bad Religion) come to mind right away.
