Bought a new TV today. Kid broke the last one. I'm not investing big bucks in a really nice TV until the kid gets a little older.

I don't blame them. That's a dick move. I understand it in certain circumstances, but I've seen it done at times where I'd be very stabby if it was a sticker on my car.

Speaking of stabby, it's nearly time for a mixed field greens salad with light balsamic, a grilled chicken breast and an apple.

You didn't want an overpriced QLED that is 3X the price and .0001% better as far as your human eyes can discern?

nice is relative. feel like you could still get a cheap 32 inch HD tv for the price you'd have to pay for a piece of shit goldstar 13 inch back in the day.
 
Liquor stores near me now carrying Three Floyds. I'll get a 6 pack of Zombie Dust, but that's probably it.

The....nanocell are relatively noticeable but outside of total low budget I can't tell a big difference

My first big screen was 1500 bucks in 2005. That gets you a rolls royce of tvs these days

My sister keeps upgrading TVs through her job (she works at Best Buy and can get TVs for cheap). I haven't bought a TV in years, she keeps handing me down her "old" TVs. Beyond the obvious size difference from the 32-inch to the 50-something inch TV, I don't notice enough of a difference that I care.

Zombie Dust is good, but it's nothing special anymore. I haven't looked at it in a while. Would be a solid go to if the price is about $14-15
