Sho nuff. Morel shrooming is the best time of year. Trout usually on the feed at the same time and my asparagus is up. Meals from the land. Start picking nightcrawlers as some as the soil warms to 50 or so. They are pretty strong then and can last in the garage fridge for months.

We didn't go mushroom hunting, but my grandparents lived near a blueberry farm. There were some bushes growing in the woods behind their property that we would go and pick in the summer, then my grandmom would make blueberry jelly from them.

I don't think they're harder to find. You're just not looking in the right spots.

But yeah, we'd go picking when I was young. You don't really find them very often in the city, though.... Not those kinds at least

I don't know. When it comes that time, I see a lot of mushrooms pop up on my Facebook feed from people back home
