Iowa and Nebraska peeps Get ITT

I’m just gonna leave this here for funsies:

Cumulative wins from 2011-2021: Nebraska 71; Iowa 89
Don't let @Red_Alert see this. I explained that Iowa has been the better team since Nebraska joined the B1G and was told Iowa only has been better the last 7. Iowa is where Nebraska strives to be, which is why I don't get a Nebraska fan talking trash about Iowa?

There is a reason you haven't responded to the question -- BECAUSE YOU CAN'T. It is never happening and unless they move the entire university out of the cornfields and sadness and move it somewhere with in state talent -- Nebraska will continue to be what we've seen since they got to the B1G.

LOL

I've previously addressed your dumbfuckery on multiple pages in other threads.
I'm not going to spend another 5 pages repeating it so you can use the Search function to go review.

If you're not too fucking lazy to do that, I'll see you on the other side, dimwit.

TrustMeIAmRight's claim was that Iowa's been the better program for 12 years.

For starters, the idiot can't count because Nebraska's only been in the Big 10 for 11 years.

2011 - 2014

Nebraska: 37-16
Iowa: 26-25

Nebraska had the better program each and every one of those years. 9, 10, 9, 9 wins to 7, 4, 8, 7 wins.

Bo Pelini could beat Iowa. He was a mediocre coach at best. Where's he coaching now? Nowhere.
He fucking destroyed FCS Youngstown St's program, and lasted one year as DC at LSU in 2020, then was fired.

We're really only judging Riley and Frost here. i.e. 7 years.
Iowa wasn't accomplishing anything more in those years than any other program wasn't accomplishing in beating 8 and 9 loss Nebraska teams.

Whatever makes that idiot feel good tho. LOL

The crux of his argument was that Iowa has been better during the time that they’ve both been in the B1G. The numbers say that he’s right. There have been years where that hasn’t been the case, but across the whole span, Iowa has been demonstrably better.

Yeah, OK.

Whatever makes y'all feel better.
I know..Hang another banner. LOL

'Hey look everybody. Nebraska's been awful the last 7 years. Bet ya didn't know that?"

Derr herr!!

You’re way too defensive about this. The facts are what they are. It makes you look like an asshole when you act like you do.

Just let him go. I tried to be nice including all of the B1G play. Using just the last 7 years, it is a slap in the face of Iowa to even mention Nebraska in the same breathe.

He doesn't seem to grasp that the team he is making fun of, is his main rival now (along with Wisconsin). The main rival that has beaten them 7 years in a row and 8 of the last 9. Whatever works for him though -- he can continue to blame coaches for another decade plus and keep up the pipe dream of being able to recruit with the elite programs while having no in state talent. At some point he will realize CFB is COMPLETELY different than 20 years ago

We know. It is Pelini's fault. It is Riley's fault. It is Frost's fault. It is, "insert the next head coach" fault.

A run of national titles followed by eventually ending up in the dumpster, or perpetually making Outback Bowls?

Nebraska might not be a blue blood anymore but better to have been a has been then never was (and I know a bit about being a fan of a never was :hurt:)

It's easy to look at Nebraska and ask what have you done lately. Only retards fail to look at Iowa and ask what have you done EVER

No one can take away from what Nebraska was in the past. They were a big fish in the Big 8/12, they were a premier team with national rivals, like Oklahoma and Texas.

They are now just another team in the B1G, playing in the weak division, with no national rival and playing all their games essentially in the Midwest. They have essentially no chance to ever be able to recruit like the elite programs now with zero in state talent.

But as you said -- countless teams would give anything to have the run Nebraska had, but the school did them absolutely no favor at all, moving to the B1G.

Banners fly forever. Not to get too off-topic but for instance the Royals fans I know say they'd absolutely do it again if they knew the moves made towards winning a World Series would eventually plunge them into the shitter instead of possibly being always good but never title-worthy.

Right @BigRedMoe?

Considering Iowa's wins against 4 win, 5 win, 3 win, and 3 win Frost were...

2018: 31-28 (3 pts)
2019: 27-24 (3 pts)
2020: 26-20 (6 pts)
2021: 28-21 (7 pts)

It seems like Iowa is doing a pretty damn good job of slapping itself in the public eye.
It wouldn't take much to get to Iowa level.

Even Michigan was losing to Nebraska with 7 minutes to play, tied with 2 minutes to play, and won by a mere 3 pts.
It wouldn't take a whole lot to get back to Michigan or any Big 10 team level minus Ohio St.

So you were too fucking lazy to go find the answers to your questions I'd previously answered in multiple other threads.

I expected as much.

Iowa has beat you SEVEN YEARS IN A ROW. Seven. Nebraska fans like you are now using "moral victories" to talk about your program. Well -- we lost, but not by much.

What happens after Frost is fired next year? How long before it is that coaches fault for Nebraska struggling?

"Moral victories" says the Michigan fan. LOL

How the fuck am I supposed to know what happens in the future?

You ask really dumb questions. Pages upon pages of dumbfuckery questions.

Right @BigRedMoe?
It's true. We're a small, small market team. We're never going to be "always good". '85 and '15 come with a price. We know that.
