GAME Iowa State @ Oklahoma 11am CT FOX

So OU just crawled out of a dumpster after finding another win in a box of turds. Has any team ever had its fans feeling so skeptical after going to 10-1? :tsk:

So, just now got to see the game. Was helping my brother take down a tree. Haven't read all the posts yet, but my observations. Our Defense in general looked good. Out DB's figured out how to make open field tackles. Our D line put pressure on Purdy all day. ISU was given some help by the zebras on the early drive when they gave him a catch and fumble on the 1. Seems as if the B12 officials are going to help any OU opponent before we depart the B12, just like last week. On O, Williams looking less impressive each week. Yes, he had the nice TD run early, but his passing is shit. His decision making is shit. And he has become a bit soft and forgot the spin and other moves he had in earlier games. He seems to never take the check down, no matter how wide open the guy is. He'd rather take a sack or force it into double/triple coverage. He is more a dual threat than Rattler, so I think he is still the better option, but hope he gets his mojo back. Brkic has become human and perhaps even a liability as he is costing us points in each game now and last week, field position, on a penalty. Finally, Purdy is a tough mofo. That hit by Perriman would've sent many out of the game. Their amazonian TE's have given us fits for years, so no surprise there, when you're a head taller than the dude covering you. Hall is a talent, and surprised we contained him as much as we did today. Wasn't beautiful, but the team seemed focused and played hard. Will need this in Bedlam, or we'll be embarrassed.

Held Breece Hall to 58 yds.

They avgd 6 yds per catch.

Hope is alive.

So, was reading OU had 20+ players that missed a couple days of practice with the flu this past week. And yet still more gas in the tank than the 'burnt orange beast'. Conditioning....not just something your wife does to her hair.
