The point is that despite their records, Auburn and Texas have players. Look at their recruiting class rankings. They are still bug wins. Sure, they have bad seasons because football is about emotion. If you lose a couple of games, players get down/give up until they get a rival into a game.

Do you think the Auburn players got up more about playing Alabama or South Carolina.

The sec is way overrated. Texas will have an easier go of it except for maybe one or two teams. The middle of the b12 is much better than the middle of the sec
