Is there anything more frustrating to a perfectionist than raking leaves...

I hate fall, or as I call it "empty the skimmers every hour season"

My son doesn't have any trees in his yard, but it is covered with leaves right now. I told him to get a leaf blower and send them back where they come from.

Seems then they just sink and I have to empty the robot more often. I need a laser that burns up leaves before they can hit the pool.

I spend a few hours each weekend during this time a year with leaves. I've got a dozen mature oak trees on my 1/4 acre lot that drop leaves for a couple months. If they would drop all within a week or two, I'd wait until they all dropped and hire someone to get them all up. As it stands, it's not worth it to have them come multiple times in the fall and that amount of leaves will essentially suffocate the grass, especially after reseeding during Labor Day.

I blow the leaves off my decks and flower beds into the lawn. Take the John Deere once around to mulch the leaves, then a second time to bag them. This cute down on the number of bags, plus any shredded leaves that don't make it I to the bags will decompose eventually, as long as they're small enough where the grass is still standing up.

I've already had 5 trees taken down since moving in 4 years ago and plan to have the canopy elevated on 9 of the oaks soon, which should help with less leaves in the future. However, I'm still waiting on a good hard frost before that should be done, or so I was told, and the weather has been so mild this fall.I

With neighbors all around, I can't just blow all the leaves into the woods like I did at the previous house.

Leaves suck, but acorns may top it.

Rakes are for pussies.

This is a real thing...

A neighbor in the City of Lake Havasu, was torching his weeds as some do around here.... He got a bit carried away, and started torching the weeds around the foundation of the home, and you guessed it, well at least some of it....

It ended up much worse than you may have suspected. He never knew he started his house on fire! The flames burnt off the weeds around the foundation and just smoldered inside the exterior walls and he traveled back to his primary home and left his vacation home for the last time....

Well, you have to show a little constraint when using a flame thrower.

I’m sure they have warning labels all over them about not burning down you house, or your cat.

Guessing not a concrete slab home?

That’s why you gotta move into a house without any trees on the property

Raking leaves is a scam perpetrated by the garbage bag and rake corporations.

Sucker!
