Is there more parity this year?

Transfers and the COVID year is creating more parity. Oklahoma State has something like 6-7 players who would have been done if not for the free year. That includes both of our starting linebackers and two starting offensive lineman (both of whom started their college careers elsewhere) and our starting running back. When you have 23-24 year olds at those positions going against 19 year olds it makes a difference.

I think you are correct. And the transfer portal. Those older players can provide a team similar to BYU's. They have those guys that go on their missions for a couple of years and then come back and finish when they are 24-26.

It's here and while it didn't treat my team well yesterday, the truth is it's probably very good for college football as a whole. From a purely entertainment standpoint, this has been one of the best seasons so far that I've seen.

I don’t think there is more parity. I think parity gap is widening. You could argue we are seeing more parity in the Big Conference, because the portal has been helpful to 2nd/3rd tier teams. The G5 is getting absolutely raped every offseason

Yes.
There is everybody else then there is Alabama.
Covid is going to be the only thing that's going to beat those motherfuckers.
Theeeeee Vanderbilt Covidores have entered the chat!

We will see if the Commadoors shot their wad against Alabama this week when they play at Kentucky.
Bama certainly shot their wad vs UGA by barely shooting off a victory.

Of course they did. That was a once every 500 year storm.

Kentucky will bury them.
