Is Tom Brady the GOAT or just a QB in a great system?

Hmmmm?

Every QB that has ever achieved long term success with one team/coach is a system QB................. except for Brady.

Montana won 4 SB's with the 49ers while being carried by one of the greatest coaches in NFL history and a great defense. System QB

Bradshaw won 4 SB's playing for the same coach/team while being carried by his roided up defense. He ran a high school offense because he couldn't read a defense if it was written in crayon. System QB

The great Roger Staubach played his entire career for one coach in the same SYSTEM.

Dan Marino......................................... haha, never mind, I just wanted to laugh at that choking pud.

Also bailed out by his kicker several times in the Super Bowls
...not to mention the opposing coach making the worst playcall in the history of organized American sports.

Like I said on tHoop, had that not happened, Brady was going to retire in complete humiliation. He even admitted it.

That one play call put $100M in his pocket.

Huh. Why didn't you mention Peyton Manning?

Oh. Forgot. He took two teams to the Super Bowl.

And how DARE you mention Brady amongst some of the all-time greats! This is an outrage!

I forgot about Captain one and done. He was such a playoff choker that they should scrub his name from the history books.

For your amusement I'll review his career. He played for the same coach for 80% of his career on a team loaded with HOF offensive talent and a damn good defense yet he manage one measly SB win. He racked up a mountain of meaningless stats against the weakest division in the NFL and did so by routinely throwing 20 passes in the 4th quarter when his team was already up by 24 points.

Then he got hooked on HGH and numerous other PED's, and still managed to throw the ball like a girl and moved on to a team with an all time defense and was carried, like a lumpy sack of potatoes to a 2nd SB win.

Now he's reduce to selling the shittiest pizza on planet earth.

How am I doing so far?

Carried to 4 SBs by his defense.
No better as a QB than his peers.
Stick Rodgers, Manning, Brees on the Pats and they wouldn’t miss a beat

There is no definitive QB GOAT.

There are at least 10 guys legitimately in the discussion and how someone ranks them is determined by one's own weight of one's own criteria.

There was a time when New England's punter was a better QB then Tom Brady.

Whatever happened to the great Tom Tupa?

There is no definitive QB GOAT.
Yeah, there is. Sorry that you don't like it, but in the mortal words of the GOAT's coach, Bill Belichik; "it is what it is".

Thommy Bundchen isnt even the GOAT in his own family.

Sorry you don't like it, but no there's not. There are a group of guys in GOAT discussion and Brady is in that group. That's where it ends.

He may be YOUR GOAT, but he's not THE GOAT because there isn't one.
