It was 55 years ago today...

George Harrison and Bob Dylan are the only musicians to n the cover that anyone should remember fondly

I was tagged in here twice. Otherwise I wouldn’t comment on an irrelevant album by a one man band with 3 deadweight losers

It was a benchmark for production at the time. It was recorded using a 4 track recorder. Say what you want about it from a musical standpoint, but there's no denying the genius that went into getting that big sound for the time from so little.

Carry on...

I agree. It was over produced garbage, but that has always been typical of bubble gum pop groups.

Traveling Wilburys were the best band George Harrison was a part of

Best musically, perhaps. However, I like to listen to Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band/A Little Help From My Friends in my head with Joe Cocker doing the 2nd song.
The one and only Billy Shears.

Can’t say I agree with that totally, there is talent on that cover. But, I’ve never wavered that the Beatle I liked and respected the most was George Harrison. He had such a talent that always got my attention.

As a kid I thought it was a great record... In my old age, it's still good but not their best album.
