Italian beef Monday

Weekend was pretty boring. Errands and housework. Starting Thursday we’ll essentially be away from home for 2 1/2 weeks, so had to suck it up and get things in order.

Did grill a bunch this weekend though. Weather was perfect….80’s and not terribly humid.

It's gorgeous up there for 6-8 weeks a year but holy shit are the people weird as fuck. I hate that weird-ass accent they have, too. Not quite Cranston and not quite Canadian.

I'd rather listen to Fauci.

The people are seriously awful.

College girlfriend's family referred to the one black family in her podunk town as "The Coloreds" and they would make note whenever they saw them do ANYTHING. "The coloreds were at the gas station the other day buying groceries".

There was one black girl on our floor in the dorms and all the white kids(aka EVERYONE ELSE but her) told her all the time that she needed to "whiteenize" herself.

What a place.
