Let's be honest -- Michigan doesn't have the talent around their state to ever recruit like Bama does, Georgia does, Ohio does.

So we have to rely on getting guys outside the top 100, top 200, top 300 recruits and developing them.

Last year took the stars aligning, an extra year for COVID and the top schools with new QB's, and Michigan with a historically good defense.

One thing that has made me feel like the administration may be changing is -- how they made that big NIL offer to Underwood. So maybe they are getting with the times now. Though I don't see Underwood coming to Michigan -- I think he wants to get as far away from Belleville as possible and going to Michigan isn't going to accomplish that at all.

I watched (in person) Alabama win @ Wisconsin 42-10 before the Tide lost @ Vandy 35-40.

Oregon isn't anything special. No team is dominant this year. teams aren't worried about playing Oregon in the playoffs.
