I will give you props, Oregon deserves the number one spot. Occupying the number one spot in November and winning the National Championship are two different things. After you run the playoff’s gauntlet and win the Championship Game, the reigning champions, Michigan Wolverines, will acknowledge you and step aside for you take your place you would have earned.

It's not the assembled talent, it's the deep pockets to be able to both entice players away from other programs and keep your own with NIL offers that outcompete other schools.

College football is entirely about the money now.

Having a mega rich donor as a cash machine is what has Oregon in position to be a contender every year.

Teams are never as good as their best game OR as bad as their worst game. Oregon is good, but I do not see them winning three straight playoff games, let alone four if they do not win the B1G. Could be wrong though.
