This Alabama team could very well still be the best team in the country but if they start feeding off the fans and this single game, it is going to not just hurt your season but your recruiting as well. Alabama fans used to brag about getting into other teams hands or ruining programs well you are letting Heupel and that very tight game that could have gone either way do that right now!

I mean, don't get me wrong, I love it but it is crazy. Just as crazy as Tennessee fans whining about how we should be #1 in the polls... I am sorry but we don't belong at #1.

Yep, Bama is still a good team and controls their own destiny. I for one hope Tennessee makes the SEC championship game and Bama wins out and we get that rematch. That would be an entertaining Sunday seeing the committee trying to decide who goes to the CFP

Both would probably go. That would be identical to last year. While there are other scenarios where this could happen - UGA could beat UTjr, but lose to 2 of UF, MSU and Ky - the more likely scenario would be that UTjr beats UGA and wins out. If they do that, they would come to the SECCG ranked 1. Then when you beat them they go to 3 or 4, and you go to 1 or 2. But, in that scenario you go for sure - you won at a neutral site, and you are the SECCs. No way you don't go in that scenario.

Winner of SECC goes regardless. And I think unless Bama loses the SECC then the runner up could possibly go as well
 
I think people are talking up Tennessee too much, talking down Alabama too much (especially the defense), etc.

Keep in mind these people are human and it is clear from the comments that the atmosphere in Neyland had a MAJOR effect on Alabama's players and coaching staff despite how much Saban is deflecting about it.

If Tennessee loses to Georgia, we are out and going to NY6 bowl. I think Tennessee has to beat Georgia to be in the mix. I would totally take 11-1 and NY6 bowl appearance.
 
Put a healthy Alabama and Tennessee together in a rematch at a neutral site and Bama will run circles around the Volunteers. Won't even be close.
