With Smitty coming back from A&M and Bedenbaugh plus add Venables I expect the OL and DL to punish people on opposing lines. #makingOUtoughagain

It takes unmeasurable luck, or incessant drive to break the cycle.

I'm fully comfortable with Brent Venables at the helm as he's cut his teeth under some of the best. He knew what he wanted and he finally fucking got it. How many jobs has this man turned down? Think of this like a 2 or 3 star kid that lives and breathes being a Sooner getting on the squad, or a PWO...they give it everything they have and you never have to question their motivation or drive.

He IS that guy.

I'm not saying he's a dynasty in the making...I'm just saying that I don't have to worry about he and his staff/student athletes giving it all down to their toenails.

It appears he and JoeC are trying to seriously build something very special.
 
HCBV plucks Ted Roof from Clemson for defensive coordinator. OC and DC are set and staff is getting close to being complete.
