I look at houses that go up for sale in my area. One was listed with a vintage interior, and by vintage they meant late 80's/early 90's
 
My friend told me about "magnet fishing" the other day. Basically a big magnet on a long rope that you throw out into the water and see what you pull up from the bottom. Combines my interest in fishing and metal detecting into one hobby. My kit should be getting here today...can't wait to see what I can find at the lake this weekend.

My friend pulled two fishing poles, a leatherman, a ton of tackle, a few bucks in coins, and a wrench the other night.

Mr. Kobe is definitely not excited. When I excitedly told him about it he said, "And then what?" As if there needs to be a point other than some good stories. Like the time I was fishing and reeled in a bed sheet....thought it was a monster fish until it got to the surface. Or the time I found a full can of beer about 3 inches below the surface with my metal detector.
