Yes serious. I don't know the layout of Columbus to know what "the city" is. I can only go off of "cities" I've been to, where it's basically trash ass areas that have houses, downtown condos that are nice or...suburbs. To find SFHs in "cities" that aren't complete shitholes, but still walkable is rare.
At the risk of redeveloping a vortex, I have a bunch of friends that live in Minneapolis proper in single family homes that are within walking distance of neighborhoods full of restaurants and shops.

I always try stuff, even if I think I don't like it. Taste buds change and even different preparations can change my opinion. I really disliked mushrooms until I was probably 35 or so, but I would always try them. I like 'em now.

I can't tell you how many people I've converted to salmon eaters. Folks that said they don't eat it because they don't like it, but allowed me to make it for them and now they do. The majority of places get shitty salmon and then cook the hell out of it.
