Gophers won last night, might be decent basketball team this year.

Tomorrow is the first garbage day after Christmas. And since nobody in my sub breaks down/bags cardboard, it’s going to be an epic shit show just like last year.

You've got to get those fancy blue recycling bins. Even with one of those though, I still had to take a trip to the recycling center on Saturday to drop off a ton of cardboard because I ran out of space.

"Listen asshole, it's Christmas.....you aren't the only one who has a ton of cardboard and bags.....be considerate and break that shit down.....I did. You're welcome."

I break mine down and bag it.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to pick pieces of foam and cardboard up off my lawn that didn’t belong to me.
 
Off work this whole week.

Of course that's my regular job.

Instead I'm doing post-Christmas cleanup and digging up an Oleander stump.

Gotta take our daughter to the airport on Saturday I think. Heading back to Camp Lejeune, NC.
 
Good morning good people. Another day and another failure with the cat. Still can't get the little bastard in the carrier. He hid all morning. I have a new strategy now. I'm going to put him in the carrier the night before and he can meow his balls off. Oh wait, I had him fixed. Anyway, that's the strategy.

I got a lot down yesterday, but still plenty of errands today. Another trip to PetSmart is in the works, not to mention groceries and newspapers.

Texas Longhorns play today, so I'll be watching that. Bevo and Ralphie would enjoy a get together. I don't expect either to be there.

Thought for the day: Am I a nerd for liking Star Wars or do I like Star Wars because I'm a nerd?
