Easily preventable deaths happen every single day because people make the mistake of believing they can drink, then drive, no matter the amount.

Law should be 0.00000 BAC = loss of license for a year and escalating prison time for amount above that. Stop fucking around.

I mean, the time and place to make that decision is before he leaves the house. Like, pretty sure he knew before he went out that he intended on boozing up, and that's fine, but that's the time to take care of business with the team's car service.

I'll drive over to my in-laws and my FIL will always offer me a drink even though he has to know by now that I'm going to say "No". I know he thinks... It's just one drink and you only live 7 minutes away... but that isn't the fucking point.

there is a woman down here who is 5 DUIs in right now.

she did jail time and has to blow into her car to start it.

she shouldn't even have that option, IMO

Just seems likely as to just how bad the collision got. Possible had Ruggs been sober he may have died. Your body reaction to a collision like that is much different on intoxicants
