It's Wednesday, and the Braves won the World Series

hate seeing another NL East team win it all, but oh well...I don't care that much. 2 WS wins in the last 3 seasons coming from the NL East isn't too bad. Just need the Phillies to make the jump to that next level...

anyways...
 
was cold last night but not turning the heat on in this place yet. Fuck that. Heat doesn't come on in fucking November.
 
Braves fans…..congrats. Admittedly I didn’t watch a minute of the series. It just wasn’t a compelling matchup to me. Or I’m just too casual of a fan.

Odd thing though…it’s not based on Braves hate. They’re a division rival, but I don’t feel the hate like I used to. Maybe it was all the success the Braves had in the 90s raised the hate. Maybe I’m just maturing.

But, legitimately, congrats. That was a strong run!

I didn't check my thermostat...

I did turn on my gas fireplace though...but that doesn't count.

my bedroom was freezing.

My sinuses bother me too much to fuck with it getting that cold

Got down to 26 last night. Back up to 65 and 45 by Sunday though

Forgot about that. That is something.

I really like Acuña, he’s a great player. But this raises the question of the Ewing theory for me.

I don't think it got that cold here last night, but it was chilly...maybe 39°F

temperatures are going to come back up today.

not ready to bring in my plants from the front porch yet either.

I just appreciate the Braves pulled through Acuna, Ozuna, and Soroka being out and then basically won a title with two starters and a pen

Still in the 70s inside, according to my thermostat. Need to get in the garden this week and finish harvesting whatever is in there. Gonna make stuffed poblanos at some point this week, and will have a lot of pesto to make, too.

They got pieces for cheap in the outfield, and those guys panned out.

Phillies traded away their "top" prospect (who isn't good) and got a middling starter. Didn't try fixing their offense at all. They needed change, they made it.
