So last night I had to let one of my technicians go. He's a big anti-vaxer, which is fine, but our new mandates at work don't line up with his ideologies. Vaccinated persons no longer have to wear a mask. He feels like he shouldn't have to wear one. Sorry bro, but you do. He also believes that the vaccine is a time lapsed death shot and that everyone that has been vaxxed will soon die once "they" turn on the switch. Complete whack job and he used to be somewhat normal. Kicked his ass to the curb this morning, told him his services will no longer be needed.

Suppose to rain tomorrow, but I'm going fishing anyway. Time to try out my new Roboworms and Neg rigs.
 
Almost saw a motorcyclist get killed (kill himself) this morning.

There's an awkward merging situation on my route to work where one one road is getting onto the highway from the left and there is an exit immediately after. A lot of people are crossing from the left to the right, so I always just go the speed limit through that section (55 mph) and speed up after. It's at the beginning of the highway portion, so it's not like I'm slowing down for that particular section.

Anyway, two cyclists didn't like this, and weaved in and out of traffic, and a car entering the highway nearly hit one. Had to jerk back left to avoid him.
 
Two ambulances just went speeding by my place...
 
"Last" Friday Thread? Why, we just going to continuously use this one as the daily thread going forward for Fridays?
 
Went grocery shopping yesterday after work. I'm checking out... The cashier looks at me and my shirt and goes, "Duke, is that your name?"

whatever, motorcycle riders can be total dicks out there.

does anyone else hope they wipe out when they ride like that, weaving in and out of traffic?
 
Thinking about driving out to a brewery 2.5 hours away tomorrow morning. It's their 4 year anniversary, and they're releasing a lot of good beers....
