Itsa Monday!

Yes, ill, brakes.

We're all so very proud of your spellchecking. How are you coming along with percentages, Mr. Engineer?

I don't know. We had a storm like that a few years ago, one of them showed up and I let them take a look at the roof. They found hail damage, I called my insurance company, they sent out an adjuster and I got a new roof.

Unless I'm an insurance company, I don't see why you wouldn't like that.

You don't want some random asshole climbing on your house. Could be a scammer trying to rip you off, or worse yet, accidentally "fall" and get "injured" on your property.

When I bought it I negotiated free oil changes, air filter, and tire rotations for 3 years or the first 36,000 miles.
That's when the bumper-to- bumper warranty expires as well.
After that then I'll just do them myself.

Although when you do the cost comparison for 4-5 quarts of oil, new filter, your time, clean up, disposing of used oil, then $100 isn't bad.
I think the more annoying part of taking my truck into a shop is the inconvenience of getting there and back.

I do a lot of my own maintenance on my truck for that reason.

but I will let them do my tire rotations since it is free with the purchase of my tires.

You know what's a better idea? Spend the extra $15 and have someone else do the work and deal with the mess.
Just because I am rich with settlment money you want me to spend it like a drunken sailor? Good lord man!

Just don't take your vehicle to Midas (or any place that uses power tools to tighten drain plug) if you pay to have your oil change. I typically change the oil myself, but I took it there a few cycles back because I was in a hurry. Although I told them to tighten it back by hand, they used power tools. And now its too tight and is starting to be rounded off.

Had to go back to a different place since I couldn't get it off. Brought them a new drain plug to replace, but they wouldn't touch it because they didn't want the liability. Cocksuckers.

My house was 17 years old and I got a brand new roof and all it cost me was my insurance deductable.

I sure screwed that one up. Never should have let that guy check my roof. . .

Exactly Dole. If I want someone to screw me over I will pick the person I want to screw me mover

You lucked out, and I'm happy for you. My feeling is that any proposal/transaction that comes to you out of the blue is a scam.
