He picked a really bad time. There's been commercials on tv about ending hate towards Asians and speaking put against violence towards Asians. Had he done this a couple years ago, he probably would have just had to issue an apology and it would have been over.
 
Was watching when he said it. Didn’t even notice.

Next inning he comes out of the break apologizing and the lil lady and I are like “WTF”

I love making fun of Asians. So does she. And she’s Asian. That said, hope Morris never announces another Tigers game. He’s an arrogant douche.

That’s the thing though. You have to know the room. My wife is Asian. I can make fun of her driving (good lord, she’s awful). I can’t do the same to some random Asian person I don’t know. Certainly not a roomful of them or whatever audience listens to Jack Morris.

It didn’t even register to me that he was mocking Asians. It sounded like Elmer Fudd.

Fuck that, dude has one of the easiest jobs around. How you fuck that up by being a shitty person is beyond me.
