He's probably run off to his safe space for a while.Fuck you, admit you were wrong on the eagles cap space.
Well he admitted that the rainbow flags were annoying him, so...He's probably run off to his safe space for a while.
You and me both, brother!
Oh so close. One more year, same annual average, not quite the guaranteed money. I love that they did this deal. I'm sure it saves a lot of money next season, and then starts to load up. Can stretch it out every year like all NFL contracts do, but a QB who is a threat to roll out quickly loses his value and this contract will stink in 2024. Plus Lane and Kelce are just about on the way out (but their contracts will live on) and when he needs to be mobile the most, his legs will leave him. Now just need the skins to screw up their long term QB situation and the entire NFCE will be on a level field.
There is a lot of gold in that post. You and me both, brother!

Dallas currently sits $3 million over the cap (obviously an easy number to get under), Philly has $17 million in space and a Lombardi to defend. I think we'll manage through this crisis.2025 looms for y'all, meanwhile the early rumors are that Dak's extension is written to take up a chunk of the cap room we have this year to get the bulk payment out of the way this year. Would leave a low base number, just enough to maneuver around the cap.
Is it a lot of money? Yes. Is it more than Dak is worth? So far, yes. Is it a terrible contract? No, just what QB's are getting at this time.
I've decided to live in my petty era. There is a lot of gold in that post.

I stand by every word of it. Hurts may have gotten the MVP but the defense and Saquon got them there and got the win. There is a lot of gold in that post.
We gonna do this again?Dallas currently sits $3 million over the cap (obviously an easy number to get under), Philly has $17 million in space and a Lombardi to defend. I think we'll manage through this crisis.
Would that be the drummer boy centennial quarter, or a pre-1964 90% silver one?Dallas also just overpaid for the 3rd best quarters in the division
That's a lot of typing to say "I was wrong."We gonna do this again?
Dallas has built their contracts to easily create $80m in cap space. Eagles have already pulled all the cap space they can. The two numbers as they sit today are nowhere near the same. With the void years PHI has done, they have zero room to redo contracts, so their cap space is what it is and can't do anything to make more room short of cutting players.
NOW, they did go out and win it all so the GM gets all the credit in the world. He gambled with the future cap space and it paid off. Tip your hat for that. But looking at cap space today between the two teams isn't valid, because of the way they build their contracts.
Well, when I'm wrong I'll admit it. Just because you don't understand how the cap works or how each team structures their contracts, that's not my issue. That's a lot of typing to say "I was wrong."
You said Hurts contract would stink in 2024 and you apparently stand by that.Well, when I'm wrong I'll admit it. Just because you don't understand how the cap works or how each team structures their contracts, that's not my issue.
I agree that the defense should have probably gotten the MVP...but not sure how you do that.I stand by every word of it. Hurts may have gotten the MVP but the defense and Saquon got them there and got the win.
I think it just means we are going to have to revisit this thread in 2 yrs and call him out again...That's a lot of typing to say "I was wrong."
I mean they have Eli an mvp in a game where they put up 17 points because they couldn't give the entire giants defensive line mvp and Hurts actually had a great game.I agree that the defense should have probably gotten the MVP...but not sure how you do that.
but they all get a ring and Hurts didn't lose it for them. He helped much more than he hurt them
his one INT might have been the only blemish on that game, tbh...I mean they have Eli an mvp in a game where they put up 17 points because they couldn't give the entire giants defensive line mvp and Hurts actually had a great game.
Yeah. Where the hell was that kicking all season long?his one INT might have been the only blemish on that game, tbh...
even Jake had a great game and he was maybe my biggest concern going into the game...
