Jaxon Smith-Njigba sitting out the playoff

As long as they go with it. We like to try to force our throws downfield when the defense is set up to stop it for some dumb reason.
Target Ringo. He’s a ball hawk but kinda sucks at coverage TBH

Didn't think he was supposed to be back anyhow.

Don’t y’all have like 5 other elite receivers?

If I were an OSU fan, the defense would concern me far more than the receivers. The UGA o-line is really good this year, and we are getting our best WR back
Not really...I'm sure they have highly recruited guys that are waiting their turn.

They have Harrison Jr. Ebuka is nice but he was basically a full-time returner last year. The other guys are just highly recruited but have less playing time. Their TE was converted from a LB.

I haven’t watched many non UGA games this year. That Flemming dude not been elite?

Sucks that we only got to see one season with the guy. Dude has 1600 yards receiving with two receivers on his team that are currently tearing it up in the NFL their rookie years

It would have been fun to see Harrison Jr and JSN on the field at the same time for a full season.

Fleming has developed into a very nice option this year but he didn't live up to his hype coming out of high school. To be fair, this is really his first full season where he wasn't battling injuries all season

Damn, that's a shame. Even as an UM fan I was really excited to see what he could do this year. He was incredible last year.

He's a true difference-maker and had a tremendous connection with Stroud. So many times this year we've missed him on 3rd and 4/5/6 where he was just always able to get open last year for us. I think having Trey Henderson fully healthy against UGA would at least be a really nice consolation if we're gonna have any shot. He's just such an explosive all-around weapon.

He had 11 catches for 127 yards last season against Michigan. Why would he be scared to play them?
I'm well aware but coming back from 2 1/2-3 months off to face Georgia wasn't in his best interest. Maybe if it were Ohio or Akron he'd play.

No one ever said he was supposed to be ready by the time the playoff started. It was all hopeful stuff. Rumors are that he messed it up quite a bit worse trying to play against Iowa. I don't blame him for deciding that he doesn't want to risk doing that again before the draft

yeah. from what i've read, I don't think he can play or he would be

He's been fine, but this is also his first year getting real reps. Didn't seem like he was getting open much against us or PSU and even when he did it barely went anywhere. Even against UM it felt like he tried to throw to Stover more than Fleming.

Damn shame for the kid. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Injury so severe it basically cost him a full season. Damaged goods when it comes to the draft. A WR with history of hammy problems is not something you spend draft capital on.

He actually wasn't bad against michigan (5 catches/47 yards). I think he'll have a better season next year than this year. He's shown flashes, just needs to put it together.

Being healthy to play and being 100% are not the same thing.

Ham strings are weird deals and the smart move is to completely rehab.
Good thing literally every single great athlete in history disagrees with you.

Had to watch Darren Waller miss most of the season for the Raiders this year too bc of a hamstring
