Jim Harbaugh gone to NFL

Yes. I think Cousins is a top 15 NFL QB right now. If kaepernick was a top 15 NFL QB, he'd be on a roster in spite of his political opinions. Minnesota needs a better defense and a better offensive line.
he's been offered two contracts by NFL teams. If he doesn't want them, that's on him.

But no, Kaep was never a top 15 QB.

This constant flirting of the HC with the NFL has got to be doing wonders for recruiting :dhd:
Usually yes BUT… I could see him using this as a recruiting tool tbh. Going to the NFL is a big deal for recruits so IF he can sell how he has all these relationships with NFL people and he was just trying to see what they are looking for ect. And the media was blowing out of proportion then..Who knows?
Not like he has THAT much more to sell at UM from where they stand currently.

Harbaugh to MIA. Done deal, announced by end of the week.

That was the rumor yesterday with no supporting evidence. Some guy tweeted it and said a team meeting was going to happen today. So far nothing has happened.

Oh, it's happening.

Ross is only going to take Harbaugh from Michigan if it’s 100% guaranteed that Harbaugh wants back into the NFL. And I doubt it’s done in secret. We’d have leaks in our athletic department before some random nfl guy on Twitter knew.

What do you think the Zoom "interview" with the Vikes was? it was both a signal flare that he wants back and a get out of jail free "look I'm not poaching UM" excuse.

I don't think it's impossible to get someone, I just don't see any super interesting options out there that are better, or less of a risk, than just elevating Gattis. I used to be on the Matt Campbell train but even he's had some issues lately with beating top teams.

Outside of a very small few they're all a gamble.
Go back year-to-year at the new head coaches and you'll see 10% (at best) actually live up to expectations. That doesn't bode well for the coaching changes made last season where they're getting 10 yr $90 million+ contracts.

Here's one of the few who's actually available and a sure thing when it comes to winning.

Would he? Would they?

Would Gattis be safer? His offenses have been less than stellar 35, 63, 14. Just more of a decision because all of the good coaches have already been taken so might as well stick with what we have and hope he isn’t Bobby Williams.

Harbaugh is like that kid in little league who really could never hit the ball, but once accidentally hits a little league style "home run" which was really him scoring on like 6 errors. Then he acts like he is Ken Griffey Jr.

I'm not sure how much credit I actually give Gattis for this past season.......That offense screamed of Harbaugh "man ball" taking over control.

The "speed in space" myth has been just that still, a myth.
