So should I diminish what OSU did in 2014 because they looked like shit in 2015 for the entire year, outside the last two games? That's a silly argument to make IMO. They were elite on both sides of the ball, and outscored their opposition by almost 550, and had the best scoring offense ever at that point.

Figured you'd go to this. OSU lost their OC and Urban did a horrible job replacing him during the season (and it cost us a return to the CFP). Then Urban took playcalling duties over himself vs. michigan and ND in the bowl and we were dominant again. They actually improved on defense in 2015 instead of going the opposite direction like FSU did. I know you love the efficiency rankings so look at FSU from 2013 to 2014 and compare that to OSU in 2014 and 2015.

At any rate, Jimbo had one great year as a coach and won a NC and then has been a downhill slide since then. That was my main point.

I'm not suggesting FSU was elite in 2014, they weren't. But using the 2014 season to discuss the 2013 team doesn't make a lot of sense. Teams are different. The coaching staff and roster were different.
