Ya,Crue has been declining for years actually........
Back in 2010,I bought tix to see them at Hard Rock Casino in Vegas on Valentines day........
Im a big fan of theirs,was/still am,and was stoked to go see them play,thinking Vegas/V-Day was gonna be kickass.....
Hell,it took like 5 songs in before I even knew what the hell Vince was singing.....His voice is trash now......
Tommy Lee always picks someone out of the crowd to go up on stage and ride around on his drum set while he does his solo,so he ends up picking some guy.....its like wtf,why didnt you pick out some hot chick to whhere her shirt slides down when they are upside down.....my wife looked at me surprised about that too.....
Wife ended up going outside to smoke and I sat at the bar,it was that bad......
Id never go see them again.....shame too,cause I really like to listen to their music......one of the very few 80s bands that I do.....

After reading The Dirt years ago I’m surprised as hell that Mick has been able to not only go this long, but live this long.
He’s dealt with this condition for a long fucking time, and it’s not a condition that is unaffected by standing long periods. He was very candid on it in the book, and it helped explain why he always seem like a hunchback.
He doesn’t owe anything to this band anymore, and replacing guitar isn’t the biggest issue with them.
Vince’s voice has been the biggest issue by far for a long while.

Vince Neil was never much of a singer to begin with. Even the other band members said while forming the band they didn't care whether Neil could sing or not. They liked him because he looked the part and the women loved him. Alot of studio electronics went into making that voice better
It’s not a lie. He got a lot more out of life than his voice would ever have gotten him.
However, knowing his story and the fresh piece of hell visited him as a father in his life, I’ll just say good for him that he got this ride as a lead singer in the past.
