Johnny Manziel went on a 5 million dollar bender then tried to off himself after being released by the Brownies.

Manziel, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, said in the film that he ramped up his drug use "to a constant, daily thing" for the first time in his life as he moved to Los Angeles and continued to drift away from his family. He was doing "a lot of coke" and abusing the opioid painkiller oxycodone, and went from 215 to 175 pounds in a span of nine months. Manziel went on what he described as a "$5 million bender," intentionally committing self-sabotage, "and then my plan was to take my life."

"I went and bought a gun that I knew I was going to use," Manziel said in the film. "I wanted it to get as bad as humanly possible to where it made sense, and it made it seem like an excuse and an out for me. Still, to this day, I don't know what happened, but the gun just clicked on me."

Classic "rock star" scenario. Fuckin idiot should've consulted Kurt Cobain on how to finish it, though.

What a waste of good talent. Best college QB ever.

Top 10 no doubt, not sure about best college QB ever. I could probably talk him into top 5.

Weird. Most players risk of suicide increases after being signed by the Browns, not after being released.
Isn’t being on Cleveland, a fate worse than death. It’s why we all quietly rooted for OBJ to make good on his escape.

Tebow better than Manziel college QB?

Well that's a felony if he bought the gun legally and lied on the application.

Someone who wants to die doesn’t let a gun that “just clicked” stop them. Newsflash: Johnny Manziel is a liar.
