For most starters in the NFL - at every position - things really start clicking in year #3. Love is just entering year #3. We'll see how much value he builds in a few months.
While I agree with you that it's unlikely the Packers are getting a 2nd for Love, there are scenarios where it could happen, such as: Love has an excellent preseason in GB and another team's starter with playoff aspirations who is on a contract year has a season-ending injury - that team might be willing to part with a 2nd in next year's draft for Love. (i.e. Tampa)
