Morning everyone

wish I had today off but my company does not yet give us Juneteenth off. Birthday was good yesterday. I got a new card holder/money clip and tickets to opening day to the US Open tennis tournament, which I realize I haven't been to since I went in high school in 2000.

Can’t make money taking a bunch of days off to satiate your political ambitions.
 
Text my buddy about their baseball in-house leagues. Think we will stay put as I think their ages for leagues are just dumb. Guess we will just travel a bit further next year for away games but can walk to home games still. Once again if you could combine the good things about both, it would be almost perfect. Unfortunately neither will budge.

my place of business makes money when I am not there.

and it has nothing to do with politics. It's a day off an workers like a day off.

do you have something against having the day off for Fourth of July too?

I do. We should get July 5th off too. Fireworks is a major part of the holiday traditions and since they can't get started until it's dark, and the 4th is among the longest days of the year, it's always a late night.

So we need to have the 4th and 5th off, AND the Super Bowl should be moved to Saturday. If anyone doesn't agree, you should just change your mind.

I disagree with this. The holiday isn't meant for your to get a proper celebration in.

except for moving the Super Bowl to Saturday. That just makes sense.

Make the Super Bowl the Sunday before President's Day. If you don't get President's Day off, look for a different job.
