JUST GIVE US A CALL

Oregon owns USC this decade.
Oregon owns UCLA the past two decades.
USC and UCLA do not care about athletics as much as Oregon.
Oregon provides endless pockets for NIL.

You called the wrong programs Big Ten

You don’t understand the B1G. If you don’t think their presidents wouldn’t jump at the chance to grab Virginia then you are nuts. None of them care about Oregon.

You can think what you want but this decision wouldn’t be close.

You’re drunk if you think Virginia is a better get than Oregon.

Not even worth my time

Here is the real deal....the recent expansion of the B1G is about markets...they wanted to get into the east coast with Maryland and Rutgers...they get into the 2nd biggest metro market with USC and UCLA...so now ask yourself which is the bigger market, Oregon or Virginia??? That's not a difficult one to answer...but I don't think UVa is picking up the phone... Oregon's shot is if ND gets off the pot and does what it's going to do, then I see Oregon and Washington as the next dominoes to fall...that fall might be into a toilet of mountain time zone abyss...but they will fall in line somewhere

When you have to pick limited time periods to find a win....youve lost.

USC and UCLA do not care about athletics as much as Oregon.

Do you have a credible link for that? I would like to read the specifics.
I could see having to give the PAC a years notice, but two?

Not that it matters, they're not leaving until 2024 because of that pesky lil' GOR.
my link is ESPNU radio/SiriusXM.. they were talking about it.. they had Ivan Maisel on there

Such Pie ASS i cant velicer this!

I was thinking of a different perspective with Oregon today. I am not sure that I 100% agree with this perspective but I want to bring it up.

Is Oregon really truly different than some of the other programs that are being left behind such as let's say Kansas State who came to mind in my belief.

Oregon and Kansas State have similarities in that both don't have a great football history, both have small but rabid fanbases, and both had a strong run in recent history (Kansas State was more distance in that their run was late 1990s and early 2000s).

Colorado is another program that came to mind when comparing Oregon or perhaps even Oklahoma State.

I will point out the differences in that Oregon does have a larger fanbase than both, has won more recently and that does matter to most short-term minds of Americans (one thing I don't like about our culture), and has a decent brand due to recent success while the brand of some of these other programs is more in the decent past and hurt by that.

One puzzling thing about Oregon, why haven't they expanded their stadium? Their fanbase seems dedicated enough to justify it. They have such a small stadium for being a stronger brand.

I think Oregon isn't as great as the ones you mentioned.. however, NIKE has made it better than the schools you mentioned by leaps and bounds with the facilities they have alone.

Look how they recruit, they recruit nationally better than Colorado or KSU.

Well a lot of it has to do with recent success as well compared to the other two.

This is why I hate this conference realignment shit, teams like Kansas State being left out to dry really sucks because those teams were fun to watch. The end of rivalries suck.

The increased concentration of talent in the Sunbelt areas (especially Southeast) didn't help as well. I think the move away from I-Formation and Power football to the new upbeat offenses gave the South a greater advantage as well. The talent up north can definitely work in I-Formation system but teams up north tend to struggle more with speed on the offensive/defensive lines unless they recruit linemen.

College Football is getting less fun.

KSU is one of the hottest bets going on to win the Big12 in Vegas right now.. they still play good football but they don't have a Phil Knight to upgrade the facilities that attracts kids from coast to coast

I can see that. Hiring Chris Klieman was a major coup and went mostly under the radar. It was one of the best hires of 2019. They have slowly been getting better each season as well.

I wish Tennessee could make hires like that. I think we finally may have gotten a great pickup with Heupel but it has really been a mess for us.
