I've heard Justin Herbert has been absolutely amazing so far in practices. My guess is he is the starter by week 5.

LAChargers got themselves a franchise in QB1. Going to be fun to watch!

Ummm, everybody looks good in practice. Probably another Oregon QB bust.
 
Since they drafted Herbert, the Chargers are odds on favorites to get the 2021 first overall pick.

Same reason every hockey goalie isn't a sumo wrestler.
 
He’s more likely to have an NFL career as a field goal blocker than a QB

Why take the risk of a football kicked into the hand of your (assumed) future QB? Shit happens.

Holy fuck. Did someone really just ask why they didn't put the QB out there to block a field goal, in a serious manner?
 
Did anyone else notice on Herbert's rushing TD he showed how smart he is? He fake pumped once and the defender turned around, then Herbert fake pumped again when the defender started focusing his attention on him again which made the defender spin around again to clear the way.
 
Did the Chargers really say that Taylor was the QB1 is he's ready to go?
