Kid kind of came out of nowhere and played very well for Marshall at times. Have to figure he's heading to a bigger gig, he could help a P5 level team imo.

ive got a few thousand for NIL money if it helps swing him my way.

he will have to put a new roof on my house for it.
 
I have no idea where he is headed, pretty surprised that he's transferring TBH but... that's todays CFB now I guess.
 
Meh. Being a superstar at Marshall doesn’t necessarily translate to P5 success. See, e.g., Cain Madden. He was 2nd team All American at Marshall but was clearly the weakest link on ND’s offensive line this year, and that includes a third string LT that was pressed into service.

His dad went to VT and we could definitely use a QB. Scratch that. Desperately need a QB

Absolutely, no guarantees at all but that’s recruiting in general, it’s hit & miss.
The kid earned/kept a starting spot at the college level and showed flashes so, I’m sure there will be coaches out there after him.

Quite a few G5 starting QBs have taken to the portal: this will be a interesting “the grass isn’t always greener” experiment

Maybe all the extra transferring stuff slows down when all the extra COVID year kids move on. If you know you aren't good enough for the NFL then that 6th year is a massive difference maker in terms of players available to teams.
