Keep an eyes on transfers from G5 to P5 ... I posted many times that the losers in the free agency movement was going to be the G5 when all their diamonds in the rough transfer to P5 schools. Why would you stay at, for example, Akron or Buffalo or Marshall, if you were a lower rated player who blows up in your first 2 years? Transfer to a P5 that has your position as a need, spend 2 years in a real S&C and nutrition program, develop and head to the NFL. With the best G5 now going to P5 B12, G5 is in even more of a minor league role. I don't mean that hatefully ... some of you pull for G5 teams. I just think at some point you need to have your own league where you can win it all with playoffs, etc.Kid kind of came out of nowhere and played very well for Marshall at times. Have to figure he's heading to a bigger gig, he could help a P5 level team imo.

Goodness what a loser he turned out to be. From QB1 Under the Lights to losing his hot girlfriend to never playing a meaningful snap of CFB. We've seen some crazy stuff with Mitch Mustain and the like, but Martel has to be the biggest loser I've ever seen. Couldn't have happened to be worst douchebag.

Was thinking earlier, If it's a choice for __________ university, lower tier P5 program, who do they take, Wells or (a similar G5 QB) or a guy like Calzada or Casey Thompson IYO?
I could see arguments for both and it being a tough call if ya had to make it as a program. Gamble either way.
