I didn’t see if it was in MN or LA, but if it was in LA, they’d be leaving by the 7th inning regardless.

i don't know. guy's always hurt. shorter spring training this year and coming back from an injury. have to imagine he could have overruled coming out of the game if he wanted. He didn't hit 80 his last few times out last year.

A perfect game going … I would have told him, it’s his call. If he told he’s had enough, then I (as manger) would have taken the blame.
