Kevin Warren Redeems Himself On Big 10 TV Deal.

The SEC already renegotiated their deal.

Sure they now want to go back to the negotiating table with the additions of TX/OU, but ESPN holds all the cards.

I've always said it's better to follow the SEC in these negotiations. It's easier to 'one-up' them that way.
They don’t have to back to the table as it was negotiated on the front end that they got a proportional increase if they expanded.

We got 300 million over 10 years just for the CBS game starting in 2024. That’s one game a week.

I just checked and we got 721mm in 2019 so the new deal will take them over 1 billion a year.

Best I can tell the deals are comparable.

The SEC’s is just harder to nail down to how it’s split up.

now this is what i call a dick-measurin' contest!!

Neither am I.

Put up or STFU.
Really? You aren't the one making statements? Then what the fuck is this?

Well the SEC contract with Disney is thru 2033/34 at $300 million/year. i.e. $3 billion over 10 years.

As I said Disney holds all the cards at any renegotiation table. They aren't gonna give the SEC another $700 million/year because..... They Don't Fucking Have To.
Seems like you are the one speaking in absolutes, not me.

I think that is me putting up, and you should be the one shutting the fuck up :suds:

^^ There's the fuckstick making claims before the ink was even dry on OP. ^^
I answered a question from YOUR article. Show me the claim, since I am clearly asking a question you fucking cunt having cockswizzler.

Nah, just someone who posted an article without reading it and then got pissy when I quoted it and proposed my own question.

Cuntstain just wanted to try to troll SEC people and ended up fucking it up.

Lame troll attempt. What makes you think I'm worked up? He started the name calling and so I am just playing his game. Don't start nothing, won't be nothing.

721 (2019 money just distributed 777.8mm this year) + 300mm new contract - 55mm old CBS contract = 966mm + 142mm what Texas and OU should bring in = 1,138,000,000

Thats a low estimate based on old data tied to what was distributed to schools. The overall take is most likely higher because the conference takes a cut and a cut goes into reserves. Remember the SEC distributed 23mm to each school for additional COVID relief in 2020.

B1G and SEC should get similar money when future contracts kick in. Problem is no other conference is going to come close so the divide is going to grow.

I do think ND will be close on an individual school basis when their contract is up if ratings stay up. NBC won‘t want to lose them.

I do.

I was prepared for a "But the SEC, SEC, SEC". Just not as soon as it was.
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition, or the SEC.
