Joe Rogan has a $100million deal that's reportedly worth double that now. Dave Chappelle's specials still drive a ton of traffic on Netflix. Controversy is good for those guys, the people with money tied up with them have no reason to push for a course change.

Kid Rock appeals to a certain crowd who think he's cool for not caring, actually not caring is irrelevant, he just has to keep marketing himself the way he does.

The point is it's all relative and determined by what's going to bring in money.

The "cancel" thing is interesting to me, what are some examples of people who have been canceled because they pretend to care? What are some examples of people who have been canceled at all, for that matter?

Patton Oswald faced way more backlash than Dave Chappelle did just for posing for a picture with Dave. He apologized, Dave didn’t. I guess nobody truly gets canceled other than the Spacey and Cosby types
