Kirby Smart seriously needs to be fired

John L Smith to Georgia

Has Muschamp ever chose a QB comparable to Jake Fromm over a QB comparable to Justin Fields?
Not sure about that, but his handling of qbs, even since his years at Florida, have probably been his most heavily criticized thing.

No no no, Fields left because someone once said a naughty thing to him and he couldn’t handle that talk and was ugly crying into his pillow every night until he left for Ohio State.

Smart has about 4 more Mark Richt type seasons to be another Mark Richt. He isn't going anywhere.

You can have Tom Herman "QB Whisperer" ... but if I were UGA and had to make the change..it would be for Tony Elliot

I thought it was the sideline blowups.
People laugh about that except the uptight fans and the school. But everyone criticizes his qb handling. Just look at the qbs who turned into something once they left Florida (Driskell and Brissett). Or his poor handling at scar. Bentley never improved. When he struggled mightily, they never pulled him. Scarnecchia had a really solid game when he was out injured and then yanked him for Bentley again. Hell they have like 3 qbs in the last two years move to WR. Hillinksi looked okay as a freshman last year until he got hurt. And he hasn't had a chance since. Instead, they got the Colorado St qb who has had 3 acl tears and been mediocre his entire career, transfer in with Bobo.

But by all means, I welcome Georgia to take him.

Truth!

But for the people that say Daniels is just now healthy even though he was cleared to play before the Auburn game, there was always a 4th option in Carson Beck that never even warmed up. By all accounts, he was impressive in practice, and you'd think after Fromm's true freshman season, Kirby would be more open to using a true freshman(but also make a QB change when the backup is better in the future)

Nick Saban had Jalen Hurts, who had lead Bama to a NCG appearance in 2016(where they lost on a last second TD by a 17th year senior WR), and had guided them back to the NCG in 2017, but Saban opened the second half with Tua when Hurts was struggling. Bama got a natty.

Dabo Swinney had Kelly Bryant, who had lead Clemson to the playoffs in 2017, and was off to an undefeated start in 2018, but the offense wasn't really clicking, so he turned to Trevor Lawrence. Clemson got a natty.

Kirby Smart had Jake Fromm who lead UGA to a NCG in 2017 where they lost on a last second TD, but in 2018 when the offense was stale without Chubb, Michel and Wims, Kirby just stuck with Fromm despite having Justin Fields, Justin Fields transferred to Ohio State and UGA hasn't sniffed a playoff appearance since, much less a natty.

JT Daniels is starting against Miss State this weekend. This tells me he’s been ready to play ever since he was cleared to play. Kirby was fine throwing the season away with a walk on and a guy who’s switching positions. Get him and his antiquated offense that doesn’t understand the value of a good QB out of here before Brock Vandagriff decommits
Just because someone was Sabans DC doesn’t make em HC material.

Hard lesson being learned by a FEW programs these days.

Agree 100%, cut bait.
